Fence Installers

Working under the supervision of a Fencing Foreman, you will build and repair metal, vinyl, O/I, wood, and other fences and gates. Ability to follow directions is a must. We work year-round and our clients are residential, commercial, government, municipalities, etc.

Duties include:

  • Communicate effectively with clients and co workers and treat them with respect
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Install wood, chain link, vinyl, and ornamental iron fencing and gates
  • Load and secure materials on work truck
  • Work with Lead in a two-man team, or as Lead if necessary
  • Interact with co-workers and customer customers on the phone and in-person
  • Clean up truck and job sites of all installation debris
  • Working with power tools and hand tools
  • Other duties as assigned. (to included, but not limited to: Yard organization, misc. yard projects, general cleaning, errands, truck up keep, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record or the ability to obtain one within the 60 day probation period
  • Previous fencing knowledge or experience is a plus
  • Excellent attendance, dependability, and a positive attitude are a must
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus

  • Pay is $18-21 per hour to start (depending on experience)

Welders

All-Around Fence Company (based in Tacoma) is looking for a Welder.

Duties include:

  • Weld gates, post plates, ornamental iron panels, and other fence related materials
  • Organize materials in the yard
  • Sort materials, separate and stage by job name
  • Keep shop and tools clean and organized
  • Interact with co-workers and customers on the phone and in person
  • Deliver and install materials and gate to job sites
  • Pick up materials from vendors
  • Operate forklift
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Valid Washington state Driver’s License
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Work outdoors all year round
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience using and maintaining welding equipment
  • Help team as needed in the yard
  • Maintain safety requirements

  • Pay is $19-$23 per hour to start (depending on experience)

Estimators

All Around Fence Company (based in Tacoma) looking for a Fence Estimator.

Duties include:

  • Meeting with customers to provide an estimate for fence work
  • Collect and analyze data in order to estimate the time
  • Knowledge of all Materials we offer
  • Labor required to construct and provide installation of fencing
  • Working with our installers and office team for fence projects
  • Submit paperwork to office team and vendors regarding fence jobs
  • Interact with customers on the phone and in-person
  • Keep work truck clean.
  • Working with power tools and hand tools.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Valid Washington state Driver’s License and good driving record.
  • Fence installation experience a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Legible handwriting on estimates and other paperwork.
  • Work outdoors year round.
  • Basic math and problem solving skills.
  • Meet with customers and communicate well in person and on the phone.
  • Maintain safety requirements.

Benefits:

  • This is a salaried position $900-$1050 per week. DOE.
